The 4th of July Celebration Committee follows the tradition of contributing any additional event profits back into the community - into projects that make living in Lone Rock a little nicer. Every year, the committee discusses potential village projects to invest in and then they work on making those things happen.

PREVIOUS YEARS
The 4th of July Committee provided the funds to pay for numerous upgrades to the Fireman's Park concession stand, including installing metal pull-down window coverings, professional griddles, and a hot water tank. It also purchased a large storage shed and picnic tables for the park.
In 2024, the 4th of July Committee provided seed money to start a Village farmers market along Highway 130. We recognize the need to support a regular, seasonal farmers market in Lone Rock. The committee coordinates local vendors who are farmers, crafters and artists in the area to participate and offers a fundraiser food tent every week the market is open.
